Support for innovation from a single source
From Idea to Impact
You have an idea, and we will implement it successfully. Think. Maths. Act., we provide compact innovation formats, including our one-day workshop on smart algorithms and our 100-day demo for your proof of concept. As your external development department, we support you throughout the process, from initial idea to the technical implementation of intelligent systems. When things get serious, we open up our infrastructure for you to use: our development platforms, such as WORHP, TOPAS ModelFitting, unsere research farms and research vehicles; the Remote Control Centre; and the outdoor test field for autonomous systems, where you can safely test your products.
Let's work together to unlock the potential of your data, products, and processes.

Examples of use

Safety Control Center
The Safety Control Centre (SCC) is responsible for monitoring important vehicle data in real time and ensuring the vehicle's continued safe operation. If necessary, the SCC can intervene directly to prevent hazards to the vehicle and its surroundings. Efficient and reliable communication between the vehicle and the SCC is therefore essential.
Test field for autonomous systems
Our state-of-the-art test field for autonomous systems offers a wide range of environments in which to test and trial a variety of autonomous technologies. From drones and autonomous catamarans to robotic solutions for the public sector and autonomous vehicles, the test field is shaping the future of mobility and automation. We evaluate the performance, safety and efficiency of these systems in realistic scenarios. This ensures they function reliably in all conditions. The test field is the perfect place to further develop innovative solutions and ensure their practical applicability.

Indoor localisation test area
The indoor localisation test area is a specialised environment in which precise algorithms for determining position and navigation can be tested. In this area, miniature cars act as digital twins, simulating the movements of real vehicles. These small models use the same localisation technology as autonomous vehicles and can orientate themselves within the area in real time. We use this area to test and optimise various algorithms for navigation, obstacle avoidance and position determination under controlled conditions. This makes the test area a perfect place to try out innovative concepts in a safe and measurable environment.
Research vehicles
Our research vehicles play a pivotal role in developing and optimising technologies for autonomous driving. Our focus is on seamlessly integrating algorithms into different vehicle types to cover a wide range of scenarios. In addition to a minibus with seating for up to seven people, our fleet includes a VW Passat and a VW T7, both of which are equipped with cutting-edge sensor technology and software. These vehicles serve as platforms for testing and improving our autonomous driving algorithms in real road conditions. By conducting these practical tests, we are advancing research and development in this promising field, laying the groundwork for the future of safe, autonomous mobility.
