Collection and use of your data
How do we collect your data?
You actively transmit personal data to us when you contact us via the contact form, by email, telephone or fax.
Automatically: Technical data (e.g. browser type, operating system and time of page view) is collected automatically. This data is used exclusively for providing and securing the website.
No analysis or tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking tools or analysis software.
What do we use your data for?
To secure and maintain the website.
We also use it to process enquiries that you actively send us.
Rest assured that your data will not be used for marketing, analysis or advertising purposes.
Hosting and order processing
Hosting
The website is operated by an external provider (host). It stores personal data on its servers, e.g. IP addresses, meta and communication data, contact details, content of enquiries and technical usage data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/enquiry) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website).
Our host processes the data exclusively in accordance with our instructions.

Order processing
A contract for order processing (Art. 28 GDPR) has been concluded with the hosting provider. This ensures that the hosting provider only processes personal data in accordance with our instructions and the GDPR.

Storage period
Personal data will only be stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law:
Server log files: max. 14 days (longer storage only for the purpose of investigating security incidents).
Contact enquiries: Personal data that you send us via the contact form, by email, telephone or fax will only be used to process your enquiry. Once processing is complete, your data will be stored for a maximum of 6 months, provided that no legal retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law) prevent longer storage. After that, the data will be completely deleted.
Business and contract data: up to 10 years after the statutory retention periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
Newsletter data: (currently no newsletter offer).
Rights of data subjects
You have the following rights under the GDPR:

Right to object
If personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time.
We will then no longer process the data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for doing so or the processing serves to defend legal claims.
Server log files
When you visit our website, the following data is automatically collected:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
The data is only processed to ensure the technical functionality of the website and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form / email / telephone / fax
If you contact us via these channels, we will process your personal data in order to handle your enquiry.
Legal basis:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry relates to a contract
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, otherwise on the basis of legitimate interests
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, if consent has been given
The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose no longer applies, you request deletion or there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary.
Newsletter
We do not currently offer a newsletter. When it is introduced, all necessary information and consent will be provided.
SSL or TLS encryption
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by ‘https://’ and the padlock symbol in the browser line. This protects data transmissions against unauthorised access.
Information, deletion and correction
You have the right at any time to:
- Information about stored data, its origin, recipients and purpose
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion of personal data, provided that this does not conflict with statutory retention obligations
Right to restriction of processing
You may restrict the processing of your data, e.g. if:
- the accuracy of your data is disputed
- the processing is unlawful, but you request restriction instead of erasure
- we no longer need your data, but you need it for legal claims
- you have objected and it is not yet clear whose interests prevail
